Mr. Yinka Sanni

Mr. Sanni was appointed to the Board of SISL on 08 February 2017.  He is currently Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, after serving as Chief Executive Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC. He was the pioneer CEO of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Nigeria’s largest Pension Fund Administrator both in terms of number of persons registered and total assets under management.

He was also the pioneer CEO of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited, which manages some of Nigeria’s largest and most successful mutual funds. He grew the Company from a start up to Nigeria’s leading independent asset management and stockbroking firm with assets under management in excess of N50billion as at 2005.

Yinka has extensive financing, capital raising, M&A and privatization advisory experience, and served as Deputy Head of Stanbic IBTC’s Corporate Finance team in the past, where he advised clients on landmark, complex and innovative transactions.

Yinka joined Stanbic IBTC Bank in 1990 and is currently a Director in two of the Bank’s subsidiaries. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and an MBA. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria.

 

Mrs. Titi Ogungbesan 

Mrs. Ogungbesan is the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited (“SISL”).

Mrs. Ogungbesan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife Osun State, Nigeria.  She won the AfriBank award for the best graduating student in a finance related discipline. She is a Chartered Accountant as well as a Chartered Stockbroker.

Mrs. Ogungbesan joined Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited in 2004 and stayed with the Bank through its two mergers.

Titi Ogungbesan currently serves as Executive Director, Equities Brokerage and she has since her appointment been responsible for the company’s business development, relationship management, and capital market analysis.

She was appointed to the Board of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited as an Executive Director on 19 February 2015.

 

Mrs. Bunmi Olarinoye

Mrs. Olarinoye is an Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited.

Mrs. Olarinoye is a sponsored individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She started her career in Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC in 2005 serving in the Treasury and Financial Services Department. In 2008 she joined Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited and served in the capacity of Head, PF & Institutional Clients (Stockbroking). Upon joining Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited in 2009, she was appointed Head, Client Services in which capacity she served until 2014 when she joined the Equities desk as Head Dealer, Retail Clients.

Mrs. Olarinoye holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and is an Associate, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS); Associate, Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA) and Member, Money Market Association of Nigeria.

With over eleven years’ experience in Banking, Capital Market and other Financial Services Sector, Mrs. Olarinoye has contributed immensely to the development of the Company’s strategy and business operations.

Mrs. Olarinoye was appointed to the Board of SISL on 28 November 2016.

 

Mr. Adekunle Adedeji

Mr. Adedeji is a Non-executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited.

Mr. Adedeji is currently Chief Financial Officer of the Stanbic IBTC Group. He has over 23 year’s post-graduation experience, with over 20 years in the banking sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and has attended several executive development programmes. Prior to his appointment, he also served as Chief Financial Officer of Stanbic Ghana from May 2013 to March 2018.

Before joining Stanbic IBTC, Mr. Adedeji had also previously served as Financial Controller and Regional Financial Controller for Ecobank Liberia and Nigeria respectively.

Mr. Adedeji is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, a Charter holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute; an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management; as well as the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

He was appointed to the Board of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited on 30 October 2018.

 

Mr. Ian Carton

Mr. Carton is a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited.

Mr. Carton holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Dublin, Ireland. With over 20 years’ experience in Equities, Capital Market Operations and other financial services Mr. Carton has gained invaluable expertise covering key operations and process development in the industry globally.

Mr. Carton started his career at Nomura Securities London and Hong Kong between 1988 and 1992 rising to the position of Vice President, Japanese Equity and Warrant Sales, London and subsequently, Manager, Asian Equity Sales, Hong Kong. Between 1992 and 1995, Mr. Carton served as Director, Asian Equity Sales at Smith New Court London and Hong Kong.

Prior to his appointment with Standard Bank PLC in 2010, Mr. Carton served at various times in Meryl Lynch London and Hong Kong as Director, Head Asia Pacific Equity Sales; MD Head, North Asia Equity Capital Markets; MD Head, EMEA TMT/Healthcare/EMEA ECM; MD Head Asia Pac Capital Markets and Financing; MD Head, Pacific Rim Equity Capital Markets; MD Co-Head, Global Markets Financing Services, EMEA.

In 2010, Mr. Carton was appointed Managing Director and Global Head of Equities for Standard Bank PLC.

Mr. Carton was appointed to the Board on 05 April 2013.

 

Mr. Sam Ocheho

Mr. Ocheho is a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited.

Mr. Ocheho is an accomplished banker with over 15 years’ experience in securities trading covering money market, fixed income and foreign exchange. He has served in several industry leadership positions including, Chairman Bond Dealers Workgroup in Nigeria; Member and Facilitator, Governing Council of the Financial Market Dealers Association as well as Facilitator, FDHL Training on Money Market Products.

Mr. Ocheho is currently, Head, Global Markets West Africa, at Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC. Prior to this appointment, he had previously served in various other organizations including: Head, Commercial Banking, Bond Bank Limited; Chief Dealer, Bond Bank Limited; Dealer, Foreign Exchange, First City Monument Bank Limited (“FCMB”) and Acting Head, Abuja of Office of the Kakawa Discount House Limited. Mr. Ocheho also attended the Management Development Programme at FCMB.

Mr. Ocheho holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria (1995). He had also participated in several local and international trainings, workshops and executive engagements including: John Maxwell Leadership Training (Lagos 2009); Credit Suisse Training on Reserve Management Partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria (Zurich 2009); Standish Mellon Asset Management Company training on the Reserve Management Partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria (Boston Massachusetts USA 2009); Senior Leadership Programme (South Africa 2007); various courses in Derivatives, Rate Derivatives and Money Market (South Africa).

Mr. Ocheho was appointed to the Board of SISL on 05 October 2015.

 

Dr. Oladipupo Oyefuga

 

Dr. Oladipupo Oyefuga is a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited.

Dr. Oyefuga currently serves as Acting Chief Risk Officer, Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC (November 2018 to date). Prior to this appointment, he served as Head, Market Risk, Stanbic IBTC (May 2014 to November 2018); as well as Regional Head, Market Risk, East and West Africa for Standard Bank Group (same period).

Before joining Stanbic IBTC, Dr. Oyefuga served as Head of Equity and Sub-Advisory Oversight, Threadneedle Asset Management London (April 2009 to November 2010); and Vice President, Market Risk Management and Analysis, Goldman Sachs International, London (November 2006 to April 2009).

Dr. Oyefuga holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2004); as well as M.Sc. in Digital Communication Systems (1999), all from the Imperial College London, United Kingdom. In 1997, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Lagos, graduating with a First Class honours.

Dr. Oyefuga was appointed to the Board of SISL on 17 June 2019.

 

Mr. Oladele Sotubo  

 

Mr. Sotubo is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited (SISL).

Mr. Sotubo was appointed as the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited (SIAML) on 11 February 2019. He joined Stanbic IBTC in 2001 and has over 20 years cognate experience spanning Investment Banking, Investment Management, Capital Market Operations and other financial services. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive (SIAML), he was the Executive Director - Investments, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited where he was responsible for managing pension assets in excess of N2.7 trillion. He has also served in other capacities as the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited; Nigeria’s largest Stockbroking firm in terms of transaction value.

He holds a degree in Economics from the Lagos State University as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Calabar, Cross River State. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an authorized dealing clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. Oladele also served as a member of the Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange from 2012 -2014.

Mr. Sotubo was appointed to the Board of SISL as a Non-Executive Director on 06 November 2019.

 

Mr. Idris Ayodeji Bello

 

Mr. Idris Ayodeji Bello is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of SISL.

Mr. Bello also self-described as the 'Afropreneur' (entrepreneur with an African focus), is a Partner at LoftyInc Allied Partners Limited and co-founder of The Wennovation Hub, an innovation platform based in Nigeria, that has successfully accelerated the launch of several technology start-ups in social impact sectors. He is also a Founding Partner at Loftyinc Capital Management, owners of the Afropreneurs Fund (I&II).

Mr. Bello is a first-class honors graduate of Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He holds a M.Sc in Computer Science & Data Mining from the University of Houston; an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Strategy from Rice University in Houston and an M.Sc in Global Health Science from the University of Oxford, where he was a 2011 recipient of The Lord Weidenfeld Scholarship for demonstrating remarkable potential as a future leader from an emerging economy.

Mr. Bello spent the greater part of a decade working at Chevron Corporation and ExxonMobil USA, where he led several large upstream technology projects across the USA and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Bello has also worked with the Clinton Foundation Health Access Initiative where he played a major role in the deployment and evaluation of Swaziland’s first mobile health patient appointment reminder system as part of the country’s National AIDS Program.

Listed among CNN’s Top Ten African Technology Voices, Mr. Bello is a Singularity University Impact Fellow, Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance Associate, Clinton Global Initiative University Fellow, MIT Global Start-up Fellow, SAP Ashoka Global Changemakers Award Winner, Dell Technology Award Winner, StartingBloc Innovation Fellow and a Nigeria Leadership Initiative Future Leader.

As a leader, Idris has mentored and catalyzed scores of contributors across the growing African landscape and is an angel investor and advisor to several African startups including Andela, Flutterwave, RelianceHMO, amongst others. He continues to devote his efforts to the development of innovation-driven, technology-enabled social enterprises that empower the underserved and develop transformative ideas to change lives on the African continent.

Mr. Bello was appointed to the Board of SISL as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 06 November 2019.
