Career Highlights
- Mr. Selvan Kistnasamy joined the Standard Bank Equity Derivatives team in 2006, spending time in various roles across sales, structuring, and trading, interacting with various client segments; before settling on a derivatives trading role within the business in early 2008.
- In 2017 he was appointed Head: Equity Derivatives Trading, taking responsibility for the equity derivatives risk origination, strategy, and management framework. In early 2020 was appointed Head: Equities Trading, which broadened his responsibility and experience in our market-leading institutional team.
- He has traded, managed, and developed effective business strategies in a wide range of economic environments, and has been deeply involved in steering the business toward a stronger client focus whilst remaining profitable and ahead of the competition in the South African market.
