- GUINNESS (+10%) topped the gainer's chart, while VERITASKAP (-4.47%) topped the loser's chart.
- ETRANZACT topped both the volume and value chart with 1.85b and N5.55b respectively.
- A total of 29 stocks gained points while 16 stocks lost points.
- The NGX Banking Index gained 65bps on UBA (+3.13%), GTCO (+0.69%), ZENITHBANK (+0.5%), ACCESSCORP (+0.48%), and WEMABANK (+0.27%). ETI (-1.88%) lost points.
- The NGX Consumer Index gained 38bps on GUINNESS (+10%), and NB (+1.57%). MCNICHOLS (-1.48%) lost points.
- The NGX Oil and Gas Index lost 47bps on ARADEL (-1.16%).
- The NGX Industrial Index gained 47bps on BUACEMENT (+1.25%), and CUTIX (+0.33%).

Value traded dropped by 47.21% to $14.45m. The market was active in crosses today, and significant ones to mention were- 20m ETI at N34.00, 17m ZENITHBANK at N60.00, 1m ARADEL at N680.00, 28m GTCO between N86.65 and N87.00, and 24.4m ACCESSCORP at N20.60. The most significant cross from today was however 1.85bn ETRANZACT crossed off market at N3.00. outside of these crosses, trading volumes in other spaces were moderate. Market sentiments were also positive in most spaces, and the Oil and Gas index was the only significant losing index. We expect positive sentiments in tomorrow’s session.
